Our Process

Our Process for Clients in the Portland Metropolitan Area

New Client Booking

You have a couple ways to book a consultation or drop off appointment at The Wig Station. You can reach out by giving us a call, sending us an email or filling out our Conversation at the Station form located on all of our Service pages. We will be happy to get you in as soon as possible that works with your schedule. Once your appointment is booked you will receive a confirmation email which will include the address, a map of how to find us and a link to our New Client Form. Each new client is required to fill out a profile to complete the confirmation process for your first appointment at The Wig Station. This form must be completed within 24 hours of the time of booking to hold your appointment on the schedule. A credit card must be held on file for all new client appointments at The Wig Station. This credit card will only be charged if there is a break in one of the following policies.

Consultation & Drop Off

Your experience at The Wig Station will start with a consultation either in person or virtually so we can get to know you and your hair. After your consultation, you will leave your piece at The Wig Station for services to be rendered. We do not perform any services while the piece is on the client’s head.

The client will receive a free 15-minute consultation for each piece that is brought in for service. Any time over this courtesy consultation time will be billed in 15-minute increments at a rate of $15 to the credit card left on file. Should the client decide to not move forward with any services, the client will be charged for the total amount of time spent during the consultation. The client will have 30 days to bring any pieces back in for service and the charge of $15 per piece will be deducted from the final invoice.


Following your consultation, you will receive an estimate via email of the services that were discussed . This estimate is your chance to choose a la cart which services with which you would like to move forward. If you approve the estimate this is our agreement that you have given permission for the services to be performed on your piece.

Finished Work

Once the estimate is approved, your piece will be moved into the schedule. Your Beauty Technician will give you a turnaround time. Once the services are completed you will receive pictures via email for any feedback. If you do not have any feedback – your pickup appointment will be scheduled and your final invoice will be sent.

Pick-up Appointment

So exciting! Your pick-up appointment is your time to see the piece in-person and try it on to make sure it is what you were hoping for. At this time, any finishing to such services as a Bang Trim or Face Framing Layers will be done on your head to polish off your piece. If you are a regular client, this appointment will be really quick. We can even run your piece out to you curbside. Your final payment is due at the time of your pick-up appointment.
