MY STORY

Hi, I’m Molly Oliver McGrath, the owner and technician at The Wig Station! With over 20 years of experience working with wigs and hairpieces in the entertainment industry, I’ve styled everything from stage productions to film sets. But after spending so many years helping actors transform into their characters, I wanted to use my skills to help real people who could truly benefit from them. That’s why I opened The Wig Station—to provide customized wig services for individuals experiencing hair loss.

I’m a Midwest girl at heart, originally from Chicago (which is why you’ll spot the Chicago star in my logo!). My journey with wigs started at The Theatre School at DePaul University, where I earned my BFA in Costume Design and fell in love with the artistry of wigs and makeup. I’ve been lucky to learn from some of the best wigmakers in the country, and my career has taken me all over—including a role as the Hair Supervisor for the Broadway touring company of Wicked, the Musical! While on tour, I took leave-of-absences to earn my Oregon Hair License, ensuring I could offer the highest level of service to my future clients.

After settling in Oregon, I dedicated myself to growing The Wig Station. The past five years have been the most rewarding chapter of my career, thanks to the incredible clients I’ve had the honor of working with. Whether you’re looking for a perfect fit, a repair for your old favorite or a fill in to extend the life of your go-to piece, I’m here to help.

I can’t wait to work with you!
